My Academic Work

Here,  you'll find a collection of my writing, marketing campaigns, and other creative projects developed throughout my academic journey. These works represent not just my marketing knowledge, but also my ability to analyze trends, develop strategies, and solve real-world problems through research and creativity.

My winning project

In collaboration with a partner, I developed a strategic digital marketing proposal for Party City, simulating an agency approach to reimagine the brand’s online presence. This was a fun project to do and also the winner from our class! We focused on improving Party City's e-commerce, social media, mobile app, and loyalty program to better engage Gen Z and increase online sales.  Our plan included targeted tactics across digital platforms to elevate Party City as a top choice for all celebrations. Check out the slides to see the exciting ideas that we came up with!

Digital Marketing Strategy Proposal

As part of a team, I helped create a digital marketing strategy for JDRF, a non-profit focused on type 1 diabetes research and advocacy. We worked on improving their online presence, looking at SEO and social media to increase donations and awareness. One part I especially enjoyed was designing search ads and landing pages. I loved figuring out the right keywords to attract the right audience and building landing pages that made it easy for them to take action.

PR Plan Proposal

I developed a PR plan for Girls Write Now, a non-profit focused on empowering young women through creative writing and storytelling. My proposal aimed to increase donor engagement and boost donations. Working on this plan taught me the importance of strategic, targeted outreach to inspire and connect with donors.  Overall, this experience equipped me with versatile skills for future challenges in both marketing and public relations.

Press Release

In my Public Relations Writing class, I wrote a press release for the fictional "Spectrum Tasting Room" exhibit at Color Factory New York. This project demonstrated my ability to create engaging content that informs and excites audiences. I learned to structure a press release with a strong headline, engaging lead, and impactful quotes, enhancing credibility and my understanding of audience targeting.

Clorox Marketing Campaign

In our marketing and communications class project, my team and I created a fresh approach for Clorox to connect with Gen Z. Our strategy addressed young adults’ concerns about bleach being intimidating and out of touch with their lifestyle. Through social media challenges, influencer partnerships, and campus events, our plan aimed to build Clorox's reputation as a safe and reliable cleaning solution for everyday life. Interested in seeing how we reimagined Clorox for a new generation?

Research Proposal

For this project, my team and I researched what shapes Gen Z's view of Skechers and their buying habits. I enjoyed exploring how trends and celebrity endorsements influence young consumers. Through this, I learned valuable skills in analyzing consumer insights, brand image, and planning strategies that resonate with target audiences.
